Hello!
I’m Jordan Meixner — a wildlife photographer based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. My work is rooted in the wild spaces that shaped me. I grew up camping, fishing, and hiking across Manitoba, and those early mornings on the trail or evenings by the lake are still where I feel most at home.
Through my lens, I aim to capture the personality and presence of the animals that live here — from soaring bald eagles and wandering bison to curious black bears, pelicans, red foxes, and many others. Each photo is a moment of connection with Manitoba’s diverse wildlife, often taken in places I’ve explored since childhood.
My photography is a way of showing the beauty that exists just beyond the treeline — the quiet, powerful stories unfolding in nature every day. Whether I’m trekking through Duck Mountain, waiting beside a marsh, or walking riverbanks at sunrise, I’m always seeking that next authentic encounter with the wild.
Thanks for being here, and I hope my images inspire you to get outside and discover more of Manitoba’s natural world.
